Grandma and Grandpa Olsen's Visit

Andrew's parents came to town a few weeks after little McKenna was born.  We don't get to see them too often, so it was a real treat for everyone.

Jake was a little cranky that week, but since I discovered his 2 year molars, so I'm sure he was teething during that time.  He was also adjusting to having a new sister and sharing his mom and dad, so I can hardly blame him for being a little grumpy.

McKenna actually had a fairly rough week too.  We were trying to find a formula that worked well for her, and at that point we hadn't discovered one that didn't give her a tummy ache/constipation/diarrhea.  Even with our kids not at their best, it was nice for them to have some time with grandma and grandpa.

Some highlights included:

Visiting with Elder Hatch, a LDS missionary here in Columbus from Kaysville, Andrew's hometown.  Andrew actually babysat Austin when he was in high school.  We went to BD's Mongolian Grill- SO good!

Jake especially enjoyed a trip to the park with some extra attention.

McKenna definitely loved cuddling with her grandma and grandpa.

We also had fun shopping (baby girl dresses are my favorite!), McKenna was blessed, we took the kids trick-or-treating, and Andrew and his dad went to an OSU football game.

We were glad to have them with us and are already looking forward to the next time we see them.
