Dinner Time!

Jake has altogether given up on baby food.  It's a fight to get him to take any formula, and forget jarred food.  He gives me a "yeah right, mom" look if I try.  The formula we push over and over, but if he'd rather have real broccoli and cheese rather than baby food style, that's just fine with me.

Jake's favorites these days are cheese, yogurt, bagels, mandarin oranges (he LOVES those), goldfish crackers, grilled cheese, cooked vegetables (like carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, corn), apples, and whatever we're having for dinner.  The only things he flat out doesn't like from the non-baby-food genre so far is bananas.

I give him most of what we eat, but I did skip the fajitas this week.  That seemed like a little much for a tiny tummy.  But he loves chili (including the onion and green pepper chunks), hamburgers, home-made pizza, broccoli and chicken alfredo, and beef stroganoff.

This week we had spaghetti again, which he gobbled down and loved.

Until he got it in his eyes...then the fun was over.

But then he discovered he was getting a bath out of the deal, at which time he decided it was well worth it!

I am so grateful to have a good little eater!
